Rebecca Voropaeff
Rebecca has transitioned into academia after a brief career in the U.S. refugee resettlement program. Her experiences revealed significant gaps in access to equitable healthcare services, motivating her to pursue a Master of Science in Global Mental Health from King’s College London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. There, she deepened her commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive healthcare environment by assessing, evaluating, and implementing solutions across diverse cultural and resource-limited contexts.
Her research focuses on mental health provision and evaluation within migration and conflict settings, emphasizing the transformative role of art and community practice in enhancing well-being. Rebecca joins the ICRE with enthusiasm, eager to apply her evaluation skills to promote equity and impact in clinical and translational science research within an anti-racist and inclusive environment.
