2025 LEADS Annual Summit
Each year, LEADS holds a Summit. In 2024, the University of Pittsburgh hosted the Summit. The LEADS summit is open to all LEADS alumni and active scholars who are in good standing with the program. Our exciting agendas provide scholars with opportunities to continue their training in not-commonly-taught skills, connect with the LEADS research network, interact with colleagues and leaders, share their career progress, and celebrate their successes.
This past year, our keynote was Candace Doby, whose work has been featured on MSNBC, NPR, and Tedx, talked about having courage in academic. We also had a workshop on teaching and time management from the National Center for Faculty Diversity and Development.
The LEADS Summit 2025 will take place in Nashville, TN, and co-hosted by one of our partnering institutions, Meharry Medical College on June 11-12, 2025.
