Admissions Students

Offered by the Institute for Clinical Research Education, this certificate program will provide a comprehensive foundation in clinical research based in both knowledge and practical skills. This certificate program will be offered completely online to provide students with additional flexibility.

After completing this program, students will be able to:

1. Explain key types of clinical research study designs and the advantages and disadvantages of each design.
2. Develop a clinical research study protocol, informed consent document, and data safety and monitoring plan for a clinical research study.
3. Explain ethical principles in the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of clinical research.
4. Develop and present a scientific poster on a clinical research topic.
