Medical Education Trainees Recognized at Annual UPMC GME Conference

Two ICRE Medical Education trainees were given awards for their presentations at the 18th UPMC Graduate Medical Education Leadership Conference, held on February 22, 2019. This annual conference is dedicated to recognizing and supporting innovations in graduate medical education.

Medical Education Degree Program students Iman Hassan, MD, and Corinne Balint, DO, both received a “Best Poster Presentation” Award.

Dr. Hassan’s presentation was titled "Health in the Neighborhood Context: A Social Determinants of Health (SDH) Focused Home Visit Curriculum for Internal Medicine Residents.”

Dr. Balint’s was titled “Resiliency and the Formal Debrief: A Novel Debriefing Curriculum for Neonatology Fellows.”
