Dr. Ana Radovic Earns NIH Health Disparities Research Funding
Ana Radovic, MD, MSc, an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh, received R21 funding from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities for a proposal to develop targeted online interventions for sexual and gender minority youth (SGMY), who are at greater risk for severe mental health disorders, to enhance help-seeking for mental health conditions. In her proposed research, Dr. Radovic will use a user-informed efficient approach to technology intervention design that considers the heterogeneity and specific needs of SGMY.
Dr. Radovic’s research uses stakeholder-informed methods and HCI techniques to inform intervention development. She is an alumna of several ICRE programs including the Master of Science in Clinical Research Program, the RAND–University of Pittsburgh Scholars Program, and the Research Acceleration and Moving Productivity Forward to a K Award Program.
