CSTP Trainee Inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society

Ololade (Lola) Adebiyi, current trainee in the Clinical Scientist Training Program (CSTP) and fourth year medical student, was formally inducted into the Charles G. Watson Chapter of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society on May 6. Induction into its chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society is one of the highest honors Pitt’s School of Medicine offers. The Gold Humanism Honor Society has more than 160 chapters in medical schools and residencies across the U.S. and more than 35,000 medical student and physician members. Lola joined 20 of her fellow Pitt med students in being recognized by their peers for their compassion, integrity, excellence, and humanistic approach to the practice of medicine. Dr. Melissa McNeil delivered the keynote address, and six residents also received Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Awards. Congratulations to Ololade on this well-deserved honor.
